Hello Fellow Gardener:
Thank you for your interest in getting to know a little bit about me.
My husband, myself and father-in-law moved to Brookings, Oregon in March 2006. The frantic pace of Santa Cruz County, California and the grid-locked roadways had finally taken its toll on our family. We decided that it was time to move to a quiet area and semi-retire.
From a young organic type to the now well-aged organic type, I have always loved to grow vegi's and herbs. I now have the time to do so and will share my knowledge of coastal gardening with you, even the mishaps.
Please read my Then and Now page, it is a short description of how I became interested, through the twist and turns of life, in creating and developing my web site. You may relate to my adventure on how a casual, even well-considered decision, led you down an unexpected road to a new and wonderful place. Had you sat and thought too much about it, you may not have walked that road. Spontaneity can have its rewards.
